【JNTO】Chasing Colours: Autumn Leaves on a Budget

In Japan, as summer draws to a close, a long-awaited cool breeze begins to blow, bringing a sense of relief to everyone. Around late October, a stunning natural phenomenon takes place as the leaves change colour. However, the high demand means prices often soar, and both international and local tourists find it challenging to secure reservations.

Fortunately, Japan offers many lesser-known hidden spots where visitors can fully enjoy the autumn colours without the crowds. These tranquil places provide the perfect setting to appreciate the beautiful fall scenery at a relaxed pace, ideal for those seeking a peaceful escape. Read more.
