Visit Kinosaki – Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei

developer@seeknetusa.com
Kinosaki Onsen is known for its amazing hot springs, which are also open to visitors of all ages! Take the family to all seven public hot springs and enjoy the relaxation and benefits the hot springs have to offer. Families can also rent the private Onsen spa at Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei if they desire more privacy during vacation. Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei is also a family-friendly hotel, so you won’t have to travel far if you would like the private Onsen spa! However, thankfully all the public hot springs in Kinosaki are within walking distance of each other.

Kochi Prefecture – Family Friendly Watersports

developer@seeknetusa.com
Kochi Prefecture is blessed with pristine crystal-clear rivers, so naturally, water activities are popular for both residents and visitors. When it comes to activities, especially for families with (small) children, the age requirement of these activities must be an important concern but no worries.
In Kochi, several suppliers are offering the water activities from the age of 3! Happy Raft offers a family rafting tour at Yoshino River, Japan’s wildest river.

If you want a little lighter one, then Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) with Suggoi Sports at Niyodo River, or canoeing/SUP with WithRiver at Shimanto River, Japan’s last free-flowing river.

Kyoto City Tourism Association – Kyoto City Zoo

A great family activity while visiting Kyoto is going to the Kyoto City Zoo. You will see all of the typical
animals like giraffes, elephants and lions, but also get a chance to see some species native to Japan, like red pandas, macaques and bears! The zoo is located on the east side of the Okazaki Museum District, in Northern Higashiyama. It’s
located near other great places to take the family, like the Nanzen-ji Temple, Heian-jingu Shrine,
and the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art.

Explore Shizuoka

Chibi Maruko-chan Land

If you or your children are fans of manga/anime, the perfect place to go while in Shizuoka is Chibi Maruko-chan Land. It is a museum dedicated to the series where guests can spend a day in the life of Maru-chan, one of the characters from the show. Explore the museum and see life-size replicas of characters and locations from the series. The museum also offers a free-zone and paid-zone. The museum is located in S-Pulse Dream Plaza, so you can enjoy the rest of your afternoon shopping in the mall if desired.
